Our dandelions are collected from our own fields high above Loch Ness, and infused in organic sunflower oil for six weeks to make this gorgeous salve. Known for their healing abilities, we use them this salve paired with sweet orange essential oil. Dandelions are rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals and may help to aid the healing of the skin, aches and pains, and itching. All our plant salves are made from wild and organic plants collected from our croft high above Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. We dry them on the day of harvest, then infuse them in organic sunflower oil. This process all takes time, but ensures you get the freshest and highest quality products from macSoap.
A tin of gentle salve perfect for keeping lips and hands in condition in the colder months of the year. Infused with lavender and chamomile essential oils. Daisys, such delicate pretty flowers. They used to be known as bruise wort, and is a plant we can use instead of arnica. Daisy may be helpful with bruising and we have married it up with soothing lavender and chamomile essential oils. Our daisys are picked from land which is organic and has been for well over half a century. We pick them in the morning when the sun is on their pretty faces, then dry them before infusing them in organic sunflower oil for six weeks. They are then ready for use in the salve.
Our Pine Salve is made by infusing pine needles in oil, straining and making into a salve with menthol and eucalyptus essential oils. Pine can help minor abrasions, scrapes and bites, it can reduce inflammation. Combined with menthol and eucalyptus, this salve can be used as a chest rub to gently help clear blocked noses during colds.
Scottish Bog Myrtle is infused in organic sunflower oil and enhanced with essential oils of lemon myrtle and eucalyptus to bring you this salve to help with itchy bites, and even keeping the midges at bay!
